Myriad Jeans Tags
This is a logo I made for a fictional upscale jeans company, Myriad Jeans. Myriad makes jeans to fit all sizes, genders, ages, and styles. Myriad means a countless or extremely great number, so I thought using a variation of the infinity symbol would work well as part of the mark. Stretching the lines of the Y allows the type face to flow into the mark giving it additional depth. I chose three color groups for the three different tags. I printed the tags on three different cardstocks to further differentiate the Mens tag from the Misses and Youth tags. Below is the front and back of each tag design prior to making the tag.
Below you can see the final tags with the punched corners and ribbon attachments in various ways. This company can afford to use ribbons rather than string because they are upscale designers. The first two show the front of the tags and the last two show the backs of the tags. I also enjoyed poking a little fun at a company competitor, Guess Jeans, in the tagline below the mark, "Don't Guess - Know!"
